Swaad: An Absolute Local Treasure! (5/5 Stars) My friends and I dine out a lot, and Swaad has instantly become one of our new local favourites. Everything about our experience was top-notch, and we highly, highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food and a fantastic atmosphere. The value here is incredible. We ate a significant amount of food—seriously, we indulged—and the bill came out to only about $50 per person. For the quality, flavour, and generous portions, you simply can’t beat that. We absolutely loved the BYO alcohol option, which kept the evening fun and affordable. The service was delightful—attentive, friendly, and helpful without being intrusive. The vibe of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, making for a perfect setting to enjoy good food and great company. But the star of the show, of course, was the food. Every dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavour. If you’re looking for fantastic food, great value, and a wonderful night out, Swaad is the place to go. We'll be back very soon!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ordered takeaway from Swaad India's Zest – absolutely delicious! The place is super clean, organised and has a calm, welcoming vibe. Service was fast and friendly. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly spiced. Very fair prices for top quality. Highly recommend – a true gem for Indian food lovers!

We had dinner at Swaad India Zest on New Year’s Eve with a table of 7. The table setup was well organised, and the attention to detail in customer service was excellent. The food was great. We will definitely be back in the very near future.

Amazing service and tasty food!! This was our first Indian restaurant in Melbourne and we were so impressed. They cooked our curries to perfection - we asked for medium spice and it was bang on. We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala & Butter Chicken, with Basmati Rice & 2x Garlic Naans, along with a Street Style Loaded Samosa. The prices were incredibly reasonable and although the atmosphere was quiet, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was a young woman whose hospitality service was great, she was so attentive and made sure we were having a great experience. The gentleman (maybe the owner or manager?) was friendly too. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.

I recently tried the biryani from Swat Restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were rich, the spices were perfectly balanced, and the aroma alone made my day. The rice was cooked beautifully, and the portion size was generous. Honestly, it’s one of the best biryanis I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended definitely going back for more!

Had a great experience at Swaad! We ordered the butter chicken, malai kofta, and tikka masala — all three were delicious. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, the kofta was soft with a creamy sauce, and the tikka masala had that perfect smoky-spicy balance. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Definitely one of the better Indian spots in the area. Will be back!
